spiritualinspiration: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland;” (Isaiah 43:19, NIV). Are you going through a situation that seems beyond your control? I want to encourage you today that even when we can’t see it, God is working behind the scenes. He is doing a new thing. He is making a way for you even when there seems to be no way. He wants to lead you out of that dry, desolate place into a place of peace, safety and abundance. He wants to take you from a season of drought into a season of abundance. Your part is simply to trust Him and switch over from an attitude of fear and doubt to an attitude of faith. How do you change your attitude? Start by changing what comes out of your mouth. Instead of speaking about your situation, speak to your situation. Every day declare, “This is the day that the Lord has made. He is taking me into seasons of increase. I’m moving forward with strength through the joy of the Lord!” When you start speaking like that, soon your mind and heart will grab hold of the truth, and it won’t be long before you’re walking in the increase God has prepared for you!

spiritualinspiration: The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest (Exodus 14:14, AMP.) In life, we’re always going to have critics. We’ll always have difficult people who try to upset us and steal our peace and joy. But, you don’t have to respond to every critic. You can decide to take the high road and let God fight your battles for you. Sometimes, no matter what you say or do, there are people who aren’t going to accept you. They just don’t want to be at peace with you. In fact, when Jesus sent out His disciples to certain homes, He told them to always speak peace over those homes. And then He said in effect, “If they don’t receive the peace that you’re offering, then it will come back to you.” That tells me that if you will do your best to be at peace with people, even if they won’t take your peace, the good news is that peace will just come back to you. You’ll not only get your peace, but you’ll get their share as well! That’s double for your trouble! When you do the right thing no matter what is happening, God sees it and rewards it. Today, stay in peace, cease from strife, and take the high road. Sow good seeds into others and watch the harvest of blessing come to your own life in return.

spiritualinspiration: ” I will answer them before they even call to Me…” (Isaiah 65:24, NLT). Have you ever thought about something you wanted or needed, and suddenly that need was supplied even before you had time to stop and pray? God knows your needs before you even speak them. He wants to provide for you and answer the very desires of your heart. Don’t ever think God is too busy to answer you. Don’t ever think your needs are too small or that you don’t matter. The truth is that He cares about everything that concerns you, and He loves to hear you call upon His name! When you put Him first in everything you do, when you faithfully follow His commands, He’ll pour out an extra portion of His goodness and favor upon you! Remember, you are very special to God, and He hears you and answers you. It may not be in your timing or in the way you expected, but know that He always has your best interest at heart. He is working things out for your good, and He will always answer—sometimes before you even call!

Do you know how valuable you are to God today? Not only did He pay a precious price in order to have a relationship with you; He cleansed you, set you apart, and made you brand new. Think of it this way, if you saved your money and purchased a very rare and valuable piece of jewelry, you wouldn’t just leave it around the house or office. You probably wouldn’t wear it to the gym or to work in the yard. You wouldn’t let your children play with it. No, you would set it apart and protect it. You would polish it, keep it clean and show it off on special occasions. You would handle it carefully because it’s valuable. Friend, understand today that you are valuable to Almighty God. He handles you carefully. As a follower of Jesus, He has set you apart for a specific purpose. He is proud of you. You are His most prized treasure. Let that sink down into your heart today. Meditate on His goodness as you realize your worth in Him! Prayer for Today: Father in heaven, thank You for loving me. Thank You for choosing me and setting me apart for Your glory. I receive Your love today and invite You to have Your way in every area of my life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
